Not bad but I can tell you that directional names will not happen. I know it's the easiest and most logical but there are enough of the right people at the SB that don't like it and will not let it happen.

I actually went with Three Forks as well for the Appy/PV...with Spartans.

Anything but Coal Miners ...ugh.

They have been doing the selection process over in DC for awhile now with the Top vote getter so far are
1)Wolfpack
2)Miners
3)Hawks
4)Bears
5)Mountneers

Top colors in no paticular order are Maroon,Black,Silver,Gold, Navy

The name as i understand it is all but set as "Ridge View"

If that is the top options, I like Ridge View Hawks myself.

Some friends and I were actually talking about the Gladeville, Guest River, Stone Mountain, etc. names too. I like those better than naming them after someone. I also always liked the Copperheads as a mascot for this area, but for colors I like bright copper with dark green, black and white ascent colors.
